Cynthia AnthonyCynthia has been doing all things theatrical for over thirty years and does not plan to ever stop. She graduated with honors from Cal State University Long Beach, earning her BA in Theatre Arts/Performance. Following several starving years as an actress in Los Angeles, she broadened her professional skills as an arts administrator, and while employed at the Norris Theatre in Palos Verdes, she met and married her true love and lifetime co-star Andrew Anthony. Continuing her work in the theatre while raising a family in Paso Robles, Cynthia went on to co-found Classic American Theatre. She also has served as Executive Director of San Luis Obispo Little Theatre and Pioneer Players. She was the Drama and Speech Teacher at Paso Robles High School, where she directed musicals and plays. Her drama students also went to the DTASC competition, where they earned numerous trophies and winner's ribbons. She has just completed her teaching credential program to teach English/Language Arts. Her passion for arts education and its positive impact on young people is evident in her three talented children, all of whom are beginning their professional lives in theatre and music. Cynthia's numerous acting credits include shows all over SLO County, including her performance as Masha in the Brickyard's debut show Anton in Show Business. Favorite roles include Bella in Lost in Yonkers, Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias. Cynthia was seen earlier this summer in The Octette Bridge Club in Cambria. Two shows in one summer! She is in heaven.
